AT LAST! HUNT SABS FIND EVIDENCE OF TRAIL HUNTING

Trail Layer

Hunt saboteurs yesterday continued their campaign against pre-season leveret hunting by attending a hunt of the Severn Vale Beagles.

Upon arrival at the meet at West End Town Farm near Marshfield, sabs were greeted by the sight of a hunt official spraying the countryside with large quantities of a noxious, foul- smelling substance. It is assumed that this was for the purposes of trail hunting.

HSA Press Officer Lee Moon commented, “The 2015-6 hunting season has not even officially begun, but hunt sabs have already been in action dozens of times to prevent pre-season fox cub and leveret hunting. If the Severn Vale Beagles really were engaged in legal trail hunting, we wonder why they packed up within ten minutes of our arrival.”
