Names Please! – We Need To Find These Fox Killers

terrierman pulls fox out of her refuge

Last night the nation watched in horror as Channel 4 News once again exposed illegal fox hunting across the UK.

One of the most distressing sequences – supplied to Channel 4 News by the HSA – shows a terrierman dragging a terrified fox from her refuge and throwing her to the feet of the pack. This man – and the red-coated huntsman who is instructing him – remain at large.

We need to find them urgently.

Please look again at these images – do you recognise him? He’s short, fairly stocky, and is clearly an experienced terrierman. Notice his waterproof over trousers, held up by just one distinctive white band.

Can you link him to the person standing to the left at the start of the sequence? They are taller, thinner, with angular features, a distinctive bobble hat, and purple and navy socks protruding from their boots.

Or perhaps you can link him to the huntsman who appears to be overseeing the digout? While we only see him in profile, there are several distinctive features. He is clean shaven, has dark hair, and is wearing black gloves. His jodphurs are beige rather than white and have a distinctive dark panel on the inseam.

We don’t know if this footage was taken this season, but it is recent and someone out there will know the names of these people who worked together to inflict cruel and illegal suffering on this fox.

As always, all information passed to the HSA will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Please, help us find these criminal fox hunters so they can face the justice they so richly deserve. Contact us here: huntsabs.org.uk/contact
