This Saturday, 28th of June, the Association of Masters of Harriers & Beagles, the people who organise hare hunts across the UK, are holding their Annual General Meeting.
Hunting for hare and foxes with hounds is not only illegal, but also very cruel.
The HSA believe that these hunts have not stopped hunting hare and are supported to hunt by the Association Masters of Harriers & Beagles.
In response there will be a peaceful protest outside the event to raise awareness about the cruelty of hare hunting, starting from 11:30am.
Please join us if you can, and bring placards, whistles, and loudhailers. Local press will also be present.
You may also want to ask the host, the Lygon Arms, why they support illegal hunting in their establishment: 01386 852255.
We hope to see you there!
