Hunt Saboteurs Association: Urgent Appeal For Information

In the run-up to Boxing Day, the HSA received persistent, credible reports of recent videos and images showing criminal hunting activity being circulated on social media and pro-hunting WhatsApp groups.

Avon Vale dig-out: video passed to us after an earlier appeal.

We understand that one video shows a bagged fox – with rope tied to her leg – being released in front of hounds. Another image shows an identifiable huntsman throwing a live fox to the hounds.

Such material shows the criminal reality behind the orchestrated smokescreen of ‘trail hunting’ and we believe the public have a right to see it.

This monster was convicted following information passed to the HSA.

We therefore urge anyone in possession of these videos – or any other such material – to send them to the HSA.

We receive intelligence from within the hunting world on a daily basis, typically this is from individuals who are disgusted by the behaviour of their own side, and often it involves activities that were not even legal in the days before the Hunting Act.

The HSA guarantees 100% confidentiality to all sources – no matter what side of the hunting fence you sit on.

So, please send any footage or images to [email protected] or for larger files, consider the secure file transfer site Wetransfer.

Thank you.

The government has launched a public consultation on Trail Hunting – this is our chance to stop cruel hunting for good. You can read the HSA’s guidance and take part in the consultation here. The deadline is 18th June 2026 – make sure your voice is heard.
