The latest edition of our magazine HOWL – originally Hounds Off Wild Life – has recently hit the doormats of our thousands of members. This edition features articles on a huge range of topics including: an assessment of the Scottish Hunting Act one year on; a deep dive into travails of the Royal Artillery Foxhounds, and an update on our parliamentary campaign. As usual, HOWL also features Group News from our network of 63 affiliated sab groups and a look at our inspirational history in Back In The Day. This edition’s piece recalls a series of demos against members of the cloth who openly supported otter hunting. Yes, there really is nothing sicker than a hunting vicar!
HOWL is published three times a year and all articles are written by hunt sabs exclusively for the magazine: you won’t find HOWL content anywhere else. And – in keeping with our grassroots, direct action ethos – the magazine is commissioned, edited and distributed by a volunteer team, meaning more of your subscription is ploughed back into the campaign.
